RICH-TONED EYE Makeup TUTORIAL ❤

Where I’m from, we’ve just gotten over our winter period and have ventured into spring. Let’s be honest though, its still quite nippy in Melbourne, Australia… haha!

As always with my tutorials, if you don’t have a certain palette or makeup product within this blog, there’s no worries.. you’re more than allowed to substitute and alternate the products. That’s the love of makeup, there are no ‘SET RULES’.. as said before.. lets begin ❤

Step 1: PRIME your lids. This’ll ensure that the eye makeup will stay on ALL day.

Step 2: CONCEAL the lids with a concealer or your favourite foundation. This’ll neutralise the skin’s pigment and give you a base.

Step 3: SET the concealer/foundation with a powder. I used a basic face powder.

Step 4: Grabbing our first pigment, swipe this within the crease and ‘gradiently’ blend this up towards the brow.

Step 5: To begin darkening up our crease, with a blender brush, place this shade also into the crease.

• Concentrate this pigment more directly along the crease.
• still using the blender brush, begin to lightly pat the ‘rich-toned brown’ into the Outer portion of the lid (below the crease).. then blend along the Outer portion of the crease.

MORPHE — 35N Eyeshadow Palette

Step 6: Using a pencil brush, combine both of the dark-rich pigments and place this along the Outer third of the crease

• Continue to darken up the Outer crease and slightly blend along towards the Inner corner of the lid.
• Begin to create the ‘Outer-V’, using the pencil brush.
• Using a blender brush, continue to slightly blend this pigment within the crease.

Maybelline New York — Master Conceal, Camouflaging Concealer. ‘10-Fair’

Step 7: Creating the ‘cut-crease’ effect, use a strong-covering concealer and place this within the INNER third of the lid.

• Slightly draw along the crease and drag out towards the MIDDLE of the lid.
• Use a small flat-head brush to be precise using the concealer on the lid.

Step 8: Set that concealer with a light-toned powder

• You can use the same powder you used in the beginning of the tutorial

Step 9: Once you’ve set the concealer with the powder, dampen a small flat-head brush and SPRAY your brush with the setting spray, then go in with a neutral-toned shimmery gold

• the setting spray will intensify the pigment and help it STICK and hold onto the lid longer.
• Place the gold pigment over the entire area where you placed the concealer

NYX Professional Makeup — Matte Liquid Liner.

Step 10: Using a liquid liner, draw on a wing. You can go as DRAMATIC or as simplistic as I’ve done for this look

• You can use either a cream-formulated liner or a liquid liner :)

Step 11: Coat your lashes with any mascara :)

Step 12: Find a pair of lashes that are ‘whispie’ and have more length towards the outer portion

• Find some lashes that’ll showcase more of the eye makeup than the lashes itself

Step 13: Using a brown eye pencil, draw along your water line.

• It doesn’t matter if its messy and jagged… because we’re gonna blend it.

Step 14: Going back into our palette, use the 2 pigments we used in ‘STEP 6’ and blend this along the bottom lash line.

Step 15: To create the gradient effect, use the pigment we used in ‘STEP 4’ and swipe this along the bottom lash line.

Step 16: Coat your bottom lashes with the same mascara we used for our top lashes

Step 17: Using the glittery-gold pigment, place underneath the arch of our brow AND along the inner corner of our eye.

And there we have it!! SELFIE TIME!!
