What is the first word that describes the Deluxe Edition palette…. BEAUTIFUL!

When I finally got my hands on the palette, I knew that I was going to be diving into the pigments, especially the glittery shades, haha!

For today’s look, I wanted to create something that was easy to achieve in a few simple steps.. but to also accomplish a stunning result.

In this look, I added in a semi-smokey liner to give this look that ‘seductive’ appeal. The warm-tone pigments compliment each element of the look; from the fluttery lashes, to the highlighted Arch of our brow :)

If you wanted to learn how I created this look, just keep scrolling down…

NYX Professional Makeup — Photo Loving Primer

Step 1: Prime the lids.

Maybelline New York — FIT ME Concealer, no. 10

Step 2: Neutralise the lid with a concealer.

Urban Decay — Naked Basics, no. 2

— — — — — — — — — — —

Step 3: Set the concealer with any skin-toned powder. I went in with the shade, ‘Stark’.

— — — — — — — — — — —

Step 4: Going into the Carli Bybel palette, I’m taking the first pigment and buffing it over the entire lid.

— — — — — — — — — — — —

Step 5: Beginning to darken up our crease, I went in with the medium-toned brown.

Blend this shade on the outer-third of our lid.

Begin creating the ‘outer-V’.

Make sure that you are focussing more of the pigment along also, our outer crease.

Step 6: Going in with our darkest shade, place the warm-toned purple into our crease.

Still continue to darken and shape our ‘outer-V’.

Blend this pigment slightly into our inner crease however, focus more of blending and building the dark purple into our ‘Outer crease’.

Maybelline — Master Conceal, Camouflaging Concealer, no. ‘10'

Step 7: Use a line-toned concealer and place this within our inner portion of the lid. Sparingly use the product as this will be blended out.

Step 8: Set that concealer with a light-toned powder. I went in with this pigment from the Carli Bybel palette.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Step 9: For this step, I used a basic transparent tape. This allowed me to get a crisp line to ‘wing out’ as well as making it easier for me to ‘smudge’ the black wing.

I used this black liner. You can use whichever liner you like. I found working with a pencil was ideal. It made the blending process easier than using a liquid-based formula.

(Lashes: KISS Lashes, ‘Flirty’ I Mascara: Maybelline — Colossal BIG SHOT Mascara)

Step 10: Coat your lashes with mascara. I went in with this mascara. Focus on coating ONLY the top lashes.

Step 11: Once our lashes are coated with mascara, grab yourself a pair of lashes that’ll compliment the look. For this eye look, I went with a pair that were fluttery, sexy and whispie. The perfect lashes :)

Step 12: Going back to using our black liner, begin to line your water-line. Also draw along the bottom lash line.

— — — — — — — — — — — — —

Step 13: Touching back into the Carli Bybel palette, place the warm-toned purple along the lash line.

Begin to blend and buff this pigment on top of our black liner.

— — — — — — — — — — — -

Step 14: Go in with the 2nd pigment we used and swipe this along our bottom lash line. Start to drag this pigment going down ever so slightly.

Step 15: Coat the bottom lashes with the same mascara we used for the Top lashes.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Step 16: To highlight our inner-corner and UNDER our arch, combine the 2 highlighter pigments and place them onto the area.

Step 17: SELFIE TIME!
